Cox Pond is a small warnnvater pond well-suited for the
pickerel, perch, and horn pout already present.
A small volume of cold water below 10 feet lacks the necessary
oxygen to support a trout population. Heavy competition from warm water fishes also rules out the possibility of establishing
a population of trout.
It is recommended that Cox Pond be managed for pickerel, perch, and hornpout.
