No fish species were reported from the original survey or during the re-survey of 1993. Since Lilly Pond experiences an oxygen deficiency in the cooler water during the summer months thereby eliminating the possibility for coldwater fish management.
In an attempt to provide a sport fishery in Lilly Pond, largemouth bass were stocked. The bass were captured from a lake known not to have Bass Tapeworm a parasite which affects fish growth. Part of the life cycle of the Bass Tapeworm occurs in fish eating birds. Due to the close proximity of the pond to the ocean and the abundant seagull population it is unknown if the pond will remain free of this parasite.
There is no boat launch facility but walk-in access is permitted.
