  • Fishing there memorial day weekend and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on hotspots, flies, etc for the river. Any help is greatly appreciated. Ill be sure to let you know how the trip went.

Allagash River Description

A tributary of the St. John River, appx. 92 miles long and flows northeast. Features several mountain lakes such as Long Lake, Umsaskis Lake, and Churchill Lake.

The Allagash River is a tributary of the St. John River, approximately 92 mi (150 km) long, in northern Maine in the United States. It drains a remote and scenic area of wilderness in the Maine Woods north of Mount Katahdin.
