Pushaw stream consists of the upper stream, which feeds Pushaw Lake, and the Lower Stream, which connects the lake to the Stillwater River. For the first mile or so above the northern basin of Pushaw lake, the upper stream is navigable and offers descent fishing opportunities for warm water species, but further up steam becomes too shallow for motorized boats. Directly below the outlet damn the lower stream can hold some good fish, but most of the lower steam is not a particularly productive fishery, though it does offer some beautiful paddling for day trippers.
